A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO) is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides free orthopedic care – including prosthetic limbs, orthotic devices, mobility aids, corrective surgery and physiotherapy – to children in the developing world suffering from traumatic or congenital limb disabilities. Since 2002, ALTSO has treated over 12,000 children, giving them the physical capabilities needed to access the opportunities and self-esteem earned through education, work and mobility.

ALTSO’s Annual Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest has been recognized as one of the most unique and highly anticipated fundraising events in both the charitable and financial sectors in both New York and Chicago. This signature event unites leaders from the hedge fund and finance industries for a night of rock & roll and acoustic music performed by industry professionals. This year’s 3rd Annual Rocktoberfest-Chicago (Oct. 8 at City Winery) and 11th Annual Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest-New York (Oct. 22 at Capitale) will celebrate the 12,000 children that have been treated as a result of this iconic event.
